Video 1: Where We Are

Does it have to be this way? Are violence, cruelty, and domination just ‘human nature’? Or are there alternatives - and if so, what are they?

Learn how Riane’s personal history as a Holocaust survivor, refugee in Cuba, and front line participant in the 1960’s Women’s Movement crystallized the questions that have animated her life-long quest to discover a new narrative about human nature and human potential.

Video 2: How We Got Here

Is there any historical evidence that humans are capable of living in peace and honoring life?

From Stone Age cave art to Minoan Crete, Riane offers a guided tour of our human history through the lens of Partnership and Domination systems to illuminate previously hidden patterns. We’ll trace the historical evidence for the existence of human cultures that have not glorified violence and control, but instead have celebrated the power to give, nurture, and illuminate life.

Video 3: Human Possibilities and Human Nature

Are primate brains wired for empathy or cruelty? How do our cultural patterns of domination shape our physical biochemistry?

In this video, Riane explores exciting new findings in contemporary neuroscience and primatology that scientifically reveal our innate potentials for caring, empathy and mutuality- and explains how the stresses of domination relations can inhibit these potentials at the neurochemical level.

Video 4: Moving Forward

What are the key leverage points for creating the urgently needed cultural shift toward the Partnership configuration?

In this final video, Riane leads us through the four cornerstones of a more just and peaceful world, and invites each of us to explore ways we can be part of the cultural transformation from domination to partnership worldwide.
